CHJ performed the Geotechnical Investigation along with grading observation and compaction testing services for the Ben Clark Training Center. This project consisted of multiple structures, located on a 150-foot by 1,250-foot parcel within the existing Ben Clark Training Center. It housed 5 steel-framed and steel-clad buildings and a small restroom facility utilizing conventional spread footings for support that was constructed on the west portion of the site. Within the remainder of the site, approximately 34 modular structures ranging in size from 12 by 60 feet to 48 by 60 feet were placed on wood and steel foundation systems were constructed. The modular structures are expected to remain in place approximately two years.
