Management and Technical Staff

Mr. Robert Johnson, a Registered Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer in the State of California, is the President and Principal Geotechnical Engineer. Mr. Johnson has over 40 years of experience in the industry.
Mr. Jay Martin is Vice President and is a State of California Registered Geologist and Certified Engineering Geologist. He has nearly 30 years of experience and has written and co-written several publications and provides oversight on all geological services provided by CHJ Consultants.
Mr. Allen Evans is Vice President and is a State of California Registered Civil Engineer, as well as a Registered Geotechnical Engineer. He has over 30 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field.
Ms. Ann Laudermilk, Environmental Projects Manager, has over 8 years of experience in conducting environmental assessments, site investigation, and remediation oversight. She is also a Registered Environmental Assessor.
Mr. John Dalgity is the Operations Manager. He has nearly 35 years of experience and is the liaison between the field and office operations. He is also responsible for the dispatching of the field soils technicians to the various on-going projects.
Mr. James A. Dalgity is the Field Supervisor and has 23 years of experience. He is responsible for assignment and supervision of field technicians. He is also responsible for assimilating and monitoring field data for technical reports and proposals, preconstruction meetings and job progress meetings. He is Caltrans certified and is responsible for assuring that the field technicians are current with their certification and training. He is also an alternate radiation safety officer.
Mr. Mike Foscolos is the Project Development and Marketing Manager. He has 23 years of experience and has been involved with all aspects of project development, project cost and budgeting, project procurement, project management and client relations.

Mr. James K. Little is the Inspections Manager and has more than 20 years of experience technical management, technical support, quality control and account management experience. He holds several certifications from the American Concrete Institute and International Concrete Repair Institute. He is an International Code Council Certified Inspector in several disciplines and is a licensed special inspector in numerous cities. Mr. Little is responsible for the management of the special inspection activities of CHJ Consultants.

Mr. Charles Nieto is the Laboratory Supervisor with more than 15 years of experience.  He is responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory, its technicians, and efficiency.  He is also in charge of keeping the lab and technicians current with registrations and certifications for all city, county, and government agencies.  Other responsibilities include quality control of all testing before results leave the laboratory. 

Mr. Joseph Rael is the Controller and brings more than 17 years of business accounting experience to CHJ Consultants. As Controller, he oversees, and advises the accounting department staff and employees and will advise Management on matters related to cost, tax and accounting.
